  • Why would you? Pages are not meant to display posts.

Instead, explain in plain English WHAT do you want to achieve? What is the end goal. Somebody will tell you the HOW…

I want to take a group of posts off the main page, but I don’t want to get rid of them completely. I still want people to be able to comment on them.

No need to use Pages for that.

Use a plugin like “category excluder” – to not show certain categories on the main page.

By default, WP creates ‘category archives’ – i.e. clicking on a category name you are presented a list of the posts in that category, so the “hidden” posts will be available from there.
