Support fro WordPress.org translation system

    Would it be possible to add support for the translation system integrated in wordpress.org?
    When I click the Translate Watu button I get the following error:

    This plugin is not properly prepared for localization. If you would like to translate this plugin, please contact the author.

    I would like to provide a translation of the plugin in my language.

    By the way, the instructions about how to translate the plugin with .po/.mo files are just fine. What I ask is about integrating correctly with the WP plugin repository, so that translations can be edited by the community and automatically downloaded along with the plugin.

    We would love to do it, but I can’t find any information what’s wrong and why it says that the plugin is not properly prepared for localization. We have followed all the instructions and the auto generated link that just points to them is not helpful.
