    We have been running WP eCommerce now for sometime and recently we are running into resource issues on the hosting which is set at 512Mb. I have run the P3 plugin and currently the eCommerce plugin is taking nearly 70%of all the resources leaving a very tight margin which causes the site to frequently stop working. I’ve reviewed the other plugins being used and with the exception of 1 which is taking another 9% the remainder take very small amounts. Is this level of resource normal or is there a way to get this down?

    I have had a go with the P3 profiler on a local copy of one of my customer sites and it tells me that wpec is responsible for 96% of the load time. Not too surprising – wpec essentially *is* the site.

    On the other hand you mention a memory limit – are you running into problems there? My scan with P3 reports 35MB peak usage.

    The real issue (if you are not running out of memory and getting white screens) is page render time – what is that like? Do you use a page cache?
