    How do I go about inserting “show more” or “read more” links to the mailpoet editor?

    There should be a button in the toolbar for this feature, otherwise the text is too long.

    by using insert wordpress post (where a “read more” tag can be inserted, it does not solve the issue since when clicking on it it takes you to the particular post and NOT the newsletter itself.

    I need to insert a “readmore” link in the manual editor of mailpoet so it can hide the rest of the text on each section and when clicked it will take you to the browser version showing the full content or make the text appear.

    I tried WP show more plugin but mailpoet does not recognise the shortcodes. They just show as normal text.

    That’s that our Read More link does. It sends you to the full blog post on your website. You can’t have dynamic content on an email, it doesn’t work like that.

    HTTPS is enforced on our site. All the links in the email are HTTPS except the Read More link. This is causing Eudora to raise a warning. Can you make the Read More link https when the site enforces it?
