Conflict with plugin bp group extras

With em activated, all BP GROUP EXTRAS custom group pages will disappear.

In em v 5.5.6 (?) this seems to have been a solution:

“I solved this problem by adding
else echo $page_content;
to line 110 just before
$content = ob_get_clean();”

(in the file em-events.php)

Can anybody “translate” this to the current em version?
