How can I translate the plugin to another language?

I would like to translate just two things, I unforunatley don’t have time to do a complete translation.

    Hi Johi,

You can help translate the plugin by contributing to the GlotPress translation.

    Here is a link:

Once your translation is added, it will need to be verified by a translator. Once validated it would then be added to our plugin for users of that language.

    Thanks,
    Evan

@eherman24, are you sure, that any other lang version will work as good as english?

When I change lang to other than english, the announcements are imposing itself… The same when I uncheck the visibility of date or “read more”… Can you test it somehow?

Can we use any simple translation, only with months and “read more”?
This link have every kind words from plugin = 22 pages 😛

Besides that many thanks for this plugin REALLY!

At the moment, based on those translations on Glotpress, there shouldn’t be any issues with the other languages, as most of the strings are still untranslated. The styles shouldn’t change, unless you are using an RTL language.

What language are you having issues with? I can see about doing some testing on my end.

    Thanks,
    Evan

I am going to be working on a solution for this issue this weekend. I will be investigating the i18n strings and looking into RTL languages, and do as much testing as I can. My native language is English, so it’s difficult to properly gauge and test a site with dummy internationalized strings :).

I will report back here when I have a new patch pushed out.

    Thanks!

    Hi @a8s76db,

I’ve gone ahead and resolved all issues regarding foreign languages and the plugin. I’ve updated all i18n strings and tested using a few different languages, including the “polylang” plugin for multilanguage sites.

    Thanks!
    Evan
