switch in currency icon

    Hi Oscar,

    I posted this on a similar thread earlier.

    It seems like there is a switch in currency icon when processing a payment in the cart.

    For example…..

    ORDER A )

    Billing Address Set UK / Shipping Address Set Australia

    – Price is charged correctly in pounds which is correct
    – HOWEVER – email order form shows ($) not (£) / Woocommerce backend shows ($) not (£)

    ____________

    ORDER B )
    Billing Address Australia / Shipping Address Australia

    – Price on email order form shows (€ ) Euros
    – Banks charges however are correct in charging AUD amount

    ____________

    Oscar, great plugin it has help us immensely however would love to know how this issue can resolved.

    Hi panoske,

    • check that email templates of your theme overrides the order currency.
    • and check if another plugin is overriding the order currency through woocommerce get_order currency hook.

    Hi Oscar,

    We followed the above and have had the same issue , another order came into today with currency icon switching.

    Anything else you could advise.

    Hi @panoske, I can’t clone the bug you reported in my test enviroment.
    Perhaps the problem is a conflict between plugins.
    Test to deactivate plugins one by one and test to change your theme.
