Redirect after Login / Cannot Update Profile

    I’m using WordPress 4.3.6 and the latest version of Ultimate Member. I have the setting: Admin > Ultimate Member > User Roles > Member > Login Options > Redirect to Profile. However, when a user logs in to my site, the user is redirected to my homepage instead of the profile. I tried updating to the latest version of WP, but the error persisted.

    Secondly, If the user manually navigates to their profile page, and clicks the “Update Profile” button, the page is not submitted or saved. Nothing happens. (permalink: /account/ with shortcode: [ultimatemember form_id=172]) Oddly enough this occurs at the default url: https://www.freshmeal.solutions/account/ but at the following url the button works fine: https://www.freshmeal.solutions/account/?profiletab=main&um_action=edit I’d rather not use this hack though, since I’d have to override a lot of links and redirects to ensure users never land on the default page.

    I tried disabling all plugins, setting the theme to twenty-fifteen, and re-installing Ultimate Member.

    Note that the “Cancel” button does work. The “Update Profile” button also works on the /user/username/ page, but I can’t create a dynamic menu link with the user name…

    I cloned the site on my local server and “Uninstalled” UM completely. It seems to work after a re-install in this case, but all my custom form fields disappeared.

    I solved the button issues. The “profile” and “account” shortcodes are not the same… I had them swapped.

    Now I still have the redirect issue.

    Okay a “Member” can login and access the “Account Page” but when they hit the “user” page to edit their profile, they are redirected to the home page. Any help would be appreciated.

    Solved it! I had checked Admin-only visibility in the Pages > Edit Page > Ultimate Member widget. Ugh!
