Popup not working in Posts grid

Hello,

I am using this code on my posts
Request More Information

This works great when viewing a single post however when the post is displayed in a grid the popup no longer works. As my posts are only displayed in a grid with no link back to single post page I really need this to work.

Post grid is from visual composer

Any help or advise would be gratefully received!

Please, try to wrap your p tag into the following shortcode: [sg_popup id=”1″ event=”click”][/sg_popup]

If I use the [sg_popup] shortcodes to wrap instead of the as in my code above then the shortcode becomes visible in the post grid and button still doesn’t work. See screenshot here: https://mega.nz/#!sQdzFYpQ!vKf_9Cgx6f63FrXWl0gKLEQGNzCNfybOcrPq5hLTsA8

Dear User,

Are you sure you’re pasting the code into the simple HTML?
As the visual composer takes the code you have written as a text, not a shortcode.
So if you write it inside the HTML it will take it as a shortcode.
But if you have done so and still have the issue, please, contact us via our email address, so we can provide you with a direct support.

Nope – not using the simpleHTML. The html button is in the excerpt box – the excerpt needs the html code to make it display correctly.
