Make sure that you uploaded all the files in the wp-admin and wp-includes directories. Those buttons use javascript to make the frame things, if the javascript isn’t loading properly, you could have that issue.
Yep, I’ve deleted and re-uploaded twice now and hasn’t fixed the issue. Any other ideas? Btw, thanks for your response.
Well, short of watching the error console or looking at the source of the page, I can’t really tell you what the problem is. You need to figure out why the javascript is not working on that site.
I’ve wiped the entire site and still nothing. What error console are you referring too? What should I be looking for?

Found the problem. It was the sociable 2.9 plugin. Updated to 2.9.1 and the issues is fixed.
Thanks… that seemed to solve the problem for me too.
I ran into this problem when we upgraded from 2.5 to 2.6.1 and we do not use the sociable plug-in.
Is there any other suggestion I could try?

hello all, i am having image upload issues in 2.7 as well. i’m new to this and i have read answers from others, but i still don’t understand where i should start or what i should do. i tested uploading an image, and it worked, but nothing has worked thus far. i’ve tried using both IE and firefox, it doesn’t work in either browser. could someone tell me where i should start and what i should do. i’ve seen answers about modifying code, and reinstalling wp-admin files…. it’s all confusing to me. when i go to upload an image, it redirects me to a whole other website. please help! thanks
Same problem. No sociable plugin. I guess I’ll disable all plugins one by one and try it. :sigh:
