    Hi,

For the record, I got a “Http error 500” as well as admin account access denied of my managed website for more than 24 hours, and I tried to searched the solution before I know this plugin is the cause, I took the method of changing Plugins folder name via Cpanel/file manager, once I did, the website is back, so I took the method of changing name of each plugin folder after restore the name of Plugins folder, when I changed the folder name of plugin folder of WP Super Cache after changed about 6-7 other individual plugin folders, it turned out this plugin cause the problem. Now my website is back and I can login the website with admin account again. However, I have many website using this plugin, and it is quiet useful particularly during the process of web page editing process, I am still trying to find a solution such as a replacement plugin or else.

    Regards,

  • WPSC works pretty well, if it’s broken – you did something wrong. Easiest way to make it work again = start from scratch, add it again, it will work. You will probably have to follow faq and readme instructions.

If this is not something you like to do, you may try alternative called WPFC (fastest cache), which is inferior to WPSC, but have a record of working pretty well for those who do not wish to invest time in hacking.

    Hi Dima:

For general reference, I had used the plugin for months, and I did not do anything I don’t do before it happened.

    Hey!

It looks like a lot of people are running into the same issue.

On my end i deactivated the following rule in the plug-in setup:
Compress pages so they’re served more quickly to visitors. (Recommended)

but i guess i’m missing most of the benefit of using a cache plugin.

    Thanks!

    Adrien
