Change my wordpress.org email address

    Hi,
    I no longer use the email address I was using when I registered for a wordpress.org account, and would like to change my email address to something I will get notifications on. However, even on the Profile “edit” page, there is no Save option for any changes I make. What’s the deal, and how do I make changes?

    This is a known issue and a patch has been submitted. https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/1990

    The submit button is there, just really hard to see 🙂

    I changed my email address on my profile page, but WordPress is still sending emails to my old address, which will be cancelled very soon. What should I do?

    Hello, I’ve tried to change my email address as I no longer use the old one. I’ve clicked on the submit button, but it still doesn’t change, it only says “pending.” When I log out and log back in, I can only use the old email address, not the new one.
    How long does it take for the new address to be accepted?
