    Thank you for reaching out to us here.

    The default site’s permalink structure contains index.php. You can change it from Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks > Common Settings > select “Post name” or other option which you prefer the most. If it failed, the .htaccess file might not be automatically created in your site’s root directory. You would see the WordPress codex.
