Nice start, but need some features

For a first try, your plugin is doing well. I have tested a lot of minifier/concatener plugins for the last 2 months, but haven’t found yet the good one. Maybe yours will be, with some more features.

Let me explain you why I personnally need an advanced minfier/concatener plugin : I’m building a website with a lot of features, this means a lot of plugins and then… I need the ability to select MY OWN groups of files.

You are beginning well with the idea of making groups of files instead of the standard process which makes one single big file. +1 for this. But DO YOU PLAN TO ADD a feature which will let us choose which files can be grouped together? By this way, the webmaster will be able to decide how many files he has, with the garanty that everything will work properly.

Minifying and concatening files are a dangerous process, especially in big project like mine with 50+ CSS/JS files combined. And,it’s normal that errors are introduced during the process if it’s an automated task.

Said differently, If you are able to provide us the same plugin, but with an advanced setting tab in which webmasters will be able to choose the numbers of files, which CSS/JS in that files, and which CSS/JS to ignore… you’ll have the respect of the whole community! Not joking…

Keep me informed of what you plan to do, because in its actual state, I can’t use it because the files generated contains several errors (but less than others plugins). I have to look at the Comet Cache Pro plugin which offers actually a manual selection of CSS/JSin multiple files, and is actually the only one to do it. But need to confirm this.
