    The only issue is the definition of excerpt limit seems to not take into account images such that in some posts I get excerpts of just a few words or the first sentence.

    A feature request would be to box up the text so that the first line break is aligned with the first word (i.e. an option to not let it break to the second line under the featured image)

    Thank you for your feedback. That feature will be part not of the plugin to keep the plugin fast and simple to use. It will be there in a further plugin.
