• You provide a link on the description page for your plugin that is supposed to take me to a demo of this plugin. It does not take me to a demo for this plugin. It takes me to a demo of your Matrix theme. There is no way to navigate to the demo or sales page for this plugin.

I found the demo page for your other plugin, but not this one. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time for your pages to load, I finally gave up.

Suggestion, don’t advertise something you either don’t have or haven’t made available yet.

Now, as far as the plugin functionality. It seems pretty nice after installing it. However, the custom post type you have made to create the gallery generates a permalink that goes nowhere. It doesn’t conform to the permalink structure chosen either. If you are going to create a link, make it go to something that can be previewed.

If you don’t have a premium version, please remove the list of features contained in the premium version from the plugin pages. There is no need to plaster a list in the sidebar of the custom post type telling me of features not available to me.

Also, your “Rate Us” stars in that same sidebar are a bit over the top. But since you put them there, I have decided I would.

The unnecessary, spammy additions to this plugin make is undesirable, in my opinion.

    Hi,

Sorry for inconvenience the link was broken in first update we had fixed it.
Now you can check the demo of this plugin at http://demo.webhuntinfotech.com/ultimate-gallery-master-pro/

And the link you are talking about it’ll go nowhere.
Because this plugin provide shortcodes to display gallery you have created.
Put that shortcode in any page or post to show gallery.

It would be very nice if you change your review/opinion about this plugin.

    Thank you

    Regards

    Actually @webhunt Infotech,

I believe my review is generous. You have made a plugin that generates a custom post type that generates a link going nowhere. That can be confusing and even frustrating to the average user.

If you are going to create a custom post type for your galleries you should have that generated link provide at least a preview. Creating things (links) that are nothing more than a useless link isn’t what I could consider a plugin worthy of more than a thee star review.

Make that link a preview for the average user and I will consider changing my review.

Please keep in mind, when I read the rules for plugins and those rules say “fully-functional”, I expect full functionality. While it might be a stretch given the context of that quote, links that do not work or go anywhere do not equate to fully-funtional for me.

    Thanks for responding.

BTW, I also do not like the spammy content you place in the sidebar widgets of the custom post type creator. I consider that to be nagging and actually (IN MY OPINION) a violation of the plugin guidelines “Any form of “nagging” is absolutely prohibited”.

According to my interpretation of the rules, your promotional rhetoric (in your widget in the custom post type creator) for your Pro version should be able to be dismissed. Your nag widget for reviews (in your bold widget in the custom post type creator) shouldn’t be there. And the fact that those two widgets cannot be removed without hacking your plugin makes the entire process very annoying.

Yes, I do believe my three star review is generous. That completes my review.

I will be happy to revisit the topic if you change the things I base my review upon.
