    Is WordPress installed in a subdirectory, or at the web root?

    Could it be that you’re having server issues with your host?

    It’s in a subdirectory, and the rest of the URL is working, just not that page. I guess I’ll upload it to root and see if that works, just to get some idea of whether that’s part of the problem, or not (whether a DB can run from the subdirectory).

    Yes, it’s always possible that the problem is on the host’s side, but I haven’t gotten a reply to my post and probably won’t get a good answer… I’m sure they will just tell me to check my code. They don’t “do” code help.

    If you installed in a subdirectory, wouldn’t the path to your install.php file be //yourdomainname.com/subdirectoryname/wp-admin/install.php? It’s possible that I am missing something, (it’s been a strange day)!

    I agree with Clayton. If it’s in a subdirectory, try to access it using the path he describes.

    Have you tried clearing your cache?
