Doesn’t work & Won’t Uninstall

<p class=””>Having installed the Plug-in some time ago, we realised the plug-in stopped working after the last update. It only allowed “Share” via WhatsApp and all other buttons were disabled even though they were displayed on the page.</p>

<p class=””>When we tried to uninstall the plug-in, the uninstall process went into a loop and would not complete. When we refreshed the Admin Page after 30 minutes of waiting, it no longer showed the plug-in on the list but it was still visible on the FTP!</p>

<p class=””>When we logged out of the admin, we could no longer log back in, as we got a White Page. We fixed the white page issue, but had to reinstate the site from the nightly back up.</p>

<p class=””>4 further attempts and we had to give up as it would not delete.</p>

<p class=””>Reported the problem to the author, and explained the problem. They contacted us and asked for the version, which we provided but have heard nothing since.</p>

<p class=””>So we now have a site with a widget that does not work driven by a plug-in that can’t be deleted.</p>
