Compact template for a rating project

In my case, I was looking for a plugin with rating feature to extend it for my special purpose.

I start with wordpress a week ago und would like to migrate an ellg-plugin to a wordpress plugin.
The Framework of wordpress and elgg is different so I have much to learn.
The rating plugin, by adminisrator has a straight structure and a coding style I like. So it helps me to understand wordpress codex.

And it is Open Source, without any charge for features to extend and it uses no extern server connections.
