• Very great Plugin. It made a complete static version of my Site (mor than 10.000 Posts) without crash oder errors. Wonderful for Performance.

It will be great, when the plugin become new features. I have blogs with only one post per month or so. This blogs can be static, because they don’t need wordpress and for security reasons. But sometimes there an update and this need actually that i recreate the static version from hand completly new.

I wish the plugin can create automaticly the new post as a static version in the static directory, without i must create all posts new with a click from hand.

For future the plugin can recreate index and categorys and create static version from this one new post… not from all posts again.

This will be nice. This will be the ultimate static plugin, i think. But only as a seperate option, because other blogs don’t need this.

Whatever… best static plugin. A must have for all wordpress sites without many updates or new posts. Static is so much faster and better for server hardware… and more secury, because no wordpress direclty anymore.

I think there problems with filesnames and german umlauts. All images there not copy from simply static have this letters or signs:

    ß,ä,ö,ü,’,”,

Great when you can test this and bugfix it, so germans can use this plugin too 🙂

Hi Jessy! Thanks for the review, I really appreciate it.

To your first point, yes, having the ability to detect which pages have changed and only update those pages is definitely on the roadmap. There’s quite a bit involved there though, so it’s still a ways off before I’ll be able to implement it.

And thanks for digging into that issue you were having with the images and finding the cause of it! That’s very helpful. I’ll test it out on my side and get that fix in one of the upcoming releases.
