Can WordPress be successfully used as a Content Management System instead of a blog. I am interested mainly due to its xhtml compliance and cross browser usability.
I was using mambo open source but it is far from xhtml compliant.
What I need is for a user not able to code or use ftp to create.
1. Static pages or content pages (not a blog )
2. News – for this we can use the blog system.
3. Image upload
4. Pluggable (I have seen a few plugins but if someone knows if there is a comprehensive list that would be great)
Anyway I think I will use this for my own blog.
