A very new CMS person here. I have a site hosted @ freeparking.co.nz
They say they support MySQL and PHP. Does that mean that I need to install PHP / MySQL to get WordPress going?
I have a decent understanding of old fashioned HTML, however need to upskill I think. Some tips or pointers would be appreciated.

You’ll need their Plus account.
No installing should be needed, just a password into mysql.

On your cpanel there is usually a way to set it up.

Help 🙂 Please 🙂
I emailed my service provider and they set up a MySQL db and gave me all the details and a link to my PHPAdmin stuff. I’ve looked at it an a db has been created.
I’ve made the changes to the config files (as per 5 min install page), uploaded to my site but still no joy.
