• Theme illustrated before installation was the PRO version, but no mention was made of this. Hours of frustration followed while trying to customise (unsuccessfully) the initial downloaded theme. Only to later discover that this was a restricted “Lite” version.
This was deceit in advertising. It was the time wasted that was the most annoying. There are other theme offerings that do the same.

  • I was wondering if this was the case. This should not be allowed. I, too, have spent so many hours trying to get themes to look right before giving up. It is very frustrating and the free version should be demonstrated so that we know what we are getting.

@simchief….where was the theme illustrated as being the Pro version?

As for a restricted “lite” version, there are many themes sites that offer a “lite” version and a pro version. The choice is up to the end-user to decide what they want to use, but here at wordpress.org, themes are only the free version.

@cindykoen….I’m not sure what you are referring to with “the free version should be demonstrated” because there is a live demo site for Longevity. IF there was something you were unable to do/achieve with this theme based on the features and demo of this theme, that is what support is for.

Was there something specific that you were hoping to have done?
