Image Uploader works in IExplorer — But not in Firefox. help?

    I’ve read the FAQ’s and as many posts as I cold find, but still haven.t been able to find a fix for this.

    In IE I can upload and place images into the post from the Write page using the Media Uploader.

    In Firefox, I can Upload files. But when I try to Insert in Post I get the dreaded blank Uploader screen that does not insert the image.

    Any suggestions or alternatives?

    Or, is it possible to somehow revert to the older Uploader, without downgrading my whole WP installation?

    I am setting up a site that members of my family can upload phosots easily. I can use Yet Anotehr Photo Blog, but it would be so much better to have the flexibility of being able to insert pictures as it is intended to work.

    I know this problem has been hashed out over and over, but every workaround I’ve tried doesn’t work.

    I should emphasis that I’m not having a problem Uploading files. The problem is that the @#$%^*& thing doesn’t want to place anything in my pase. I try Insert and I just get a blank black square — no messages, no http: error no nuthin.

    If anyone can suggest a fix please, I’d appreciate it. It’s becoming an unhealthy obsession to try and do something that should be more straightforward.
