I’m going to assume you’re making a joke, since looking at your other posts, you seem the sort who would have read “Turn your admin panel upside down. Literally.” and understood it. When you leave a 1-star review like that for fun, it messes the system up for everyone. Even the silly, fun, plugins.

Yes, it’s just a joke. It was done on the good-faith assumption that the author would appreciate the humor. He did. I was under the impression that there was a little bit of a tradition around fun plugins with a meta-type humor that riffs on idiotic reviews.
But if this review needs to be removed please do so. I have not actually used the plugin so changing it to a 5-star review would probably just defeat the purpose of not tampering with the system.
Yes and no.
Reviews are “serious business” in that people do take them as a measurement of how good a plugin is. If I wanted to use this plugin for April Fools and saw a one-start, I’d skip it. It’s funny, I grant you, but it does kind of defeat the purpose of the reviews and sets a bad precedent for later when I have to turf someone’s review for being a one star “I didn’t use it, but this sucks.” And yeah, I do :/
If you want to use it and give it 5 (or 4… whatever you feel it’s worth) stars while keeping your tongue in cheek review, that would work 🙂
