It stops… Doesn't work for me.

    I’ve been using EWWW Image Optimizer in order to reduce bandwidth consume, and it works fine, but I wanted to try all free alternatives before purchase an API key (necessary for lossy compression), so I downloaded this plugin.

    It started working, but then it stops by hours in the same image. I’ve tested in three websites, results:

    57 out of 90 images left to process (losless compression).
    186 out of 190 images left to process (lossy compression).
    692 out of 695 images left to process (losless compression).

    More than 3 hours each try, and after cancel and reprocess it simply doesn’t work anymore…

    My plugin list:
    Seo by Yoast.
    Wordfence.
    WP Super Cache (2 of 3 tested websites).
    BJ Lazy Load.
    Imsanity.
    Simple Basic Contact Form.
    WP No Category Base.
    Quick Adsense (1 of 3).

    Any idea of what’s happening?

    ShortPixel is currently in Beta, we’re still improving our service, so your feedback is valuable. We’re now looking into re-creating the issue you described.

    We are aware of the issues regarding the Bulk Optimisation feature. Could you check to see if the plugin you have installed is older than version 1.5.2? If so, please update to the newest version, and retry optimising the images. The process will take some time, so please do not close the WordPress admin while processing.

    The Bulk Optimisation is the main thing we are focusing on now, so hopefully, the next version will fix the problems you are facing. We’ll let you know when we have the next update, and take it from there, if you agree.

    It was 1.5.2, but I’m updating now to 1.5.3.

    I’m testing it now, when the plugin starts to work properly, I’ll update to a 5 stars review, for sure.

    1.5.3. Now it changes between “94 out of 95 images left to process” and “95 out of 95 images left to process” in the previous first tested website.

    File was not downloaded due to access restrictions.

    Hi, we need to check our logs in order to identify and take out the possibilities that prevented the files from being downloaded. It may have to do with your hosting settings.
