User beware
-
Even though they use cute, busty girls on their banner to help ease fears, I’m still not certain this plugin does what it claims. My concerns are based on the following:
1) It’s not really free. They give you a free 24-hour evaluation period, then you have to subscribe to one of their monthly, paid plans.
2) They really push hard for you to allow them to install code in your website’s header to “tell others about their great plugin.” They even offer you a free gift if you permit it.
3) They don’t really explain how they’re able to drive quality customer views to your website. They’ve apparently discovered a method of advertising on the Internet that even Google hasn’t figured out yet. They claim to use ‘Neuro-Positive Interaction between your brand and visitors.’ Is this even a thing?
4) I tried it for the 24-hour evaluation period. I was excited to see that my number of views shot up about 300% from around the world during that period. Unfortunately, my Bounce Rate went from the low 20% range to the high 80% range during that same time.
5) I’m always suspicious of companies that can’t afford to hire decent translators. The English from this company is poor–almost incomprehensible.
At least in my case, I didn’t receive ‘quality’ views. The new visitors that hit my website’s home page (be they human or robot) looked around for half a second and then bounced right out. That’s not how 90% of my real visitors use my website. That certainly isn’t going to help increase my sales. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’d make good backups before you install this.
