Hi,
thanks for your rating, I really appreciate it!
Just out of curiosity: Are you maybe missing any features or having problems? I’d love to get some feedback and maybe work with you to make your TablePress experience even better and maybe earn a fifth star. 🙂 Thanks!
Best wishes,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,
I only gave you 4 stars as there is always room for improvement 😉
But come to mention it, I did have an issue with the responsive add-on that I installed.
I had added the tag to one of the tables but then I noticed that it screwed up the other tables.
Also, the theme that I am using is Responsive so I am wondering whether I need to use your responsive plugin?
Thanks,
Dave
Hi Dave,
thanks for the feedback! I can’t really imagine that adding the Shortcode parameter to one table influences another table. That’s not how the code works.
If you want, I’ll gladly take a look at this. Could you maybe post a link?
And while your theme may label itself “Responsive”, most themes don’t cover tables. The reason for this is that making tables responsive is awfully hard. There’s just no fixed behavior that will work with all tables on small screens. So, if you don’t like what happens to tables on small screens without the Extension, then the Extension is probably a good start. Depending on what content you have in your table, other approaches might however also work and show better results.

Tobias

Thanks Tobias. I will take this offline and respond via your email. My site is due to launch this week so it would be good to have this feature working – well it’s probably working just user error perhaps.
Cheers,
Dave
Hi Dave,
sure, sounds good. You can find my email address in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.
(Replying to the forums notification won’t work, as that’s not coming from my address.)

Tobias
Hi,
just for everybody following this thread: Dave and I were able to fix his responsiveness issues by using a different scroll approach (Horizontal Scrolling only, instead of the “Flip&Scroll” approach).

Tobias
