• I am Spanish and my English is not very good.
I had installed a few months ago the plugin “Better WP Security”, and I was very happy with it, but without warning, an update changed to “iThemes Security”. I have had problems accessing my Backend (I can not go in there) since iThemes Security ‘slipped’ on my website. I think of crooks trying to do business in this way, and leave managers with a lot of problems. I would like to give me a solution (without paying, of course).
Currently, using FileZilla I renamed the plugin, then from the access panel have chosen the option to change password, the system that sent me to my e-mail, I tried again and left me in the Backend. But iThemes greyed out and if I try to delete it, I turn into problems … What a mess. Only 1 star because I can not put 0!!!!!; shameful.

IMPORTANT: Go to: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-log-in-to-wp-admin-4?replies=34 , and the solution of ‘davidebabylonia’ (end of page 1) works fine.

  • Hi vasavi,

We apologize for the issues and the frustration this has caused you. Here at iThemes we value your feedback and are working hard to fix these pervading issues.

First, please make sure to keep the plugin as up to date as possible. Our developers are pushing regular updates to take care of bugs and have already resolved a great number of issues, and a newer version may fix the problem you are experiencing. If this does not work or you are experiencing a new issue, please fill out an iThemes Security Bug Report with as many relevant details as possible, so our developers can better address the issue.

We greatly appreciate your feedback and your patience in helping us resolve these issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.

    Thanks,
    D.V.
