Password does not work

    Hello all

    I have install wordpress by godaddy connection, installation went well and everything is fine, But there is one issue though..

    When i add my username and password , It does not want to take my password.

    no problem, I request a new password, and when they send me the link to click on to reset password.

    It say

    Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.

    but every email they sent me and when i click on the link and take me to my page to login, Im always getting that Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid message all the time.

    I have exactly the same setup and problem. I can’t get anything to work of find the cpanel……the has become a real problem. Anyone have any ideas

    glad to hear im not the only one..

    a question though, Did you use Godaddy for your installation, If you did, then im starting to guess it has to do with godaddy hosting then the wordpress application itself.

    I”m on the phone with godaddy now and they said that the invalid link is wordpress. we are trying to get a phone number to someone that can help. I will post when I figure out what is going on. In the mean time I have reported to wordpress as a bug…..let you know if anything happens.

    It is not a bug.
    Please don’t use multiple post to “draw attention” – you won’t want the attention you draw.
    There is no phone number for WordPress – support is all volunteer by whom ever happens to be on line with a few minutes to spare.

    My suggestion . . . reinstall. That will take you about 5 minutes.
