Convert sql database to Word Press Blog?

Hi there, my word press recently stuffed up I backed up the whole ‘wordpress’ with phpMyAdmin and saved a copy onto my computer, is there anyway I can transfer all of this onto wordpress and keep my blogs? i have tried heaps but it’s not working.

It’s currently a sql file sitting on my desktop.
