Send password in the url

Is it possible to ‘unlock’ the page with a URL? I want to redirect users to the website with just the URL. For example something like http://example.com/?unlock=mysecretpassword
The reason is, if someone visits the page on its own, its protected and locked and ONLY accessible if they have the correct link.
