    Hi,

I will relay your message to our development, I can’t make any promises on if/when they are able to solve this problem.

I don’t hear about compatibility problems with Boxzilla very often and if we come across them 9/10 times we can’t do anything about it as it is usually the other plugin not following certain WordPress standards.

Did you ask the same question at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/instagram-feed ? Can you please post the URL to that support thread here too so our development can keep an eye on that too?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
I also talked to the other developer, but they say the issue is not on their side and I tend to believe them, knowing that more than 200,000 users have downloaded their plugin and don’t seem to have an issue.
There is no support thread opened on this topic as I contacted them directly by email. If you let me know how I can make that message available to you without showing my email in the public, I’m happy to forward it.
    Cheers,
    Michaela

That is fine. Maybe you could ask them for us how they confirmed that the issue is not on their side? That might tell us more about what causes the issue. Or did they not base that conclusion on any research?

Thank you! Looking forward to your response.

    Hi,
here’s the message I received from Smash Balloon, maybe it helps:
“When I take a look at the javascript console for your page it is showing an error (https://snag.gy/foU1jO.jpg). Since our plugin relies heavily on javascript to work, any error can cause the feed to stop loading.

The error is most likely coming from a plugin or your theme. You can figure out which one might be causing the problem by deactivating your plugins and seeing if the feed starts working or switching to a default theme (like twenty fifteen) temporarily to see if that fixes the problem.

Once you figure out which plugin/theme is causing the problem you could try contacting the author to see if they have a fix for you”.

I then deactivated my plugins one by one, and found out that it’s yours that causes my instagram feed to break. So what can we do about this?

    Cheers,
    Michaela

    Hi Michaela,

The error you’re screenshot is showing comes from the Q2W3 Fixed Widget plugin, not from Boxzilla. Are you 100% certain deactivating that plugin won’t fix your issue?

I doubt that Boxzilla is the culprit here as the error seems to be related to jQuery, a JavaScript library that Boxzilla is no longer using since version 3.

Hope that helps. If not, let me know!

    Hi Danny,
unfortunately this seems not to be an easy fix. Of course I had tried to keep Boxzilla and Instagram Feed activated, while deactivating Q2W3 Fixed Widget, but this doesn’t make the Instagram gallery work either. I made this combination the current setting, and as you can see on http://travelintense.com/bungle-bungles-purnululu-national-park/, the instagram feed in the sidebar is still not loading. But as soon as I deactivate Boxzilla, it does work. So what could the issue be?

    Hi guys,
My issue is still not solved. Check out this page for example: http://travelintense.com/eco-travel-destinations/french-polynesia/
In the right sidebar, where my instagram feed should be showcased, I can only see a turning wheel.
Could you please help me solve this issue?
    Cheers,
    Michaela

    Hi guys,
I’ve been trying to figure this out by working with BOXZILLAN and you, but there still seems to be an issue. Boxzilla says they checked the code on my site and they get the following result:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/0q6zp3r9v3zcl47/Screenshot%202016-11-05%2011.19.27.png?dl=0
So the issue seems to be with Instagram Feed.
Here’s the full thread that might help your development team to locate the issue:

Thanks a lot for your help!

If you still have a problem or you have a similar problem as posted above, please open a NEW topic. Don’t forget to include a link to a page where we can see the issue whenever possible. Thank you!
