Different index.php

Hey Everyone,
I´ve got a questinon. Does anyone know how to have different index.php? I´d like to have it something like as http://coda.co.za/ I have no problem with graphics, but I´m not so skilled in WP templating. Thanks for answers. I have a few ideas as to have two different templates, one for the index and others for contents and others.
