Problem – Http 404 Error

    I’m not sure what the problem is but every time I write a new page in Word Press and view it on my blog site – I get a HTTP 404 ERROR; page is not found.

    Here is a bit of background:
    Word Press 2.5.1 installed fine
    Reflection Theme – photoblog installed fine
    YAPB “Yet Another Photo Blog” application – plug in insatlled fine

    In word press – admin panel, YAPB is activated, therefore the reflection theme which uses YAPB will work.

    After theme is selected under Design & When I write a new page, called about (small letters) – and then click on the about page – under my blog site (using the reflection theme) I get HTTP 404 ERROR Web Page cannot be found.

    When I try to create any other new page – latest, contact, mosaic etc. and hit on those links on the blog site – I receive same error HTTP 404.

    I have checked with my server/host and they have TURNED ON mod_security.

    I own a web design & development firm – and any help with this greatly appreciated…. Please email me privately for web site link and admin user/password should you need it – can someone out there check my word press and make sure everything is installed correctly? I’m new at this blogging thing…

    i had the same problem….

    A. Go to administrator – settings – Permalink Settings – Common settings: make sure it is set to “Day and name”

    B. Make a new page, name it Mosaic. Make sure “Page Template” is set to “Mosaic page”

    Hi, you can also try putting something in the category and tag spaces in the permalink page. I just used category and tag and got rid of my 404 problem.
