• In Gateway Theme, the “Add Contact Form results in this: [contact-form][contact-field label='Name' type='name' required='1'/][contact-field label='Email' type='email' required='1'/][contact-field label='Website' type='url'/][contact-field label='Comment' type='textarea' required='1'/][/contact-form]

When I view the page, the name and email fields auto-populate with my name and email address — instead of being blank. How can I be sure those fields are blank to viewers of the site?

  • I noticed this same thing and thought it was an issue in the code until I simply logged out of my account and went to the page as a customer. I think that the plugin pulls your default website email and auto-populates the form. You can also try it on a phone or pad that isn’t logged in. I have Kalium theme though. Hope this helps.
