Youtube embed problem :(

Hey Guys, I really have a big problem and I really need some awnsers please 😉

I have just installed my new wordpress (WP 2.5.1) And Its runs great…
But only for 2 days, after those days – When I navigate too my blog – It sais:

“Internet explorer cannot open this internet site – http://www.Moviecrew.nl/wordpress – Operation Aborted “

I’ve never had this problem before, Does someone know how to solve this?

Some things I do know is that maybe a youtube player (or other flash embed) Causes the problem, but I dont want to delete all of my youtube player movies; Thats just what my blog is about :S

Maybe I just need to downgrade to the old WP ? :S

Which version of IE are you using? Have you considered using FireFox?

I see some old posts. How did you import these? And did you move the location of the blog before importing or has it always been that exact url?

Ow Cool, Funny that you are asking this JMach because I DID move my location. I went from: http://www.stijnjasper.wordpress.com too http://www.Moviecrew.nl

Does it matter? Do I need to embed the youtube players all again?
So it links to the right blog?

And Kulpreetsingh; You see, I use internet explorer. But that is because I want the most regular one. Because when I use firefox, I can’t see the problem that the IE users have. And that means that viewers of my blog can’t visit my site because I can’t solve, nor see the problem :S

I hope you guys understand, My english grammar is not that great 😛

You could als check your xhtml. The validator reports some non closed divs http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fmoviecrew.nl%2Fwordpress%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

I’ve removed the embeds on my homepage and it works fine now 😀
But when I navigate too the next page it still crashes.

So, Do I need to grab the embed from youtube and try it again?

I had a similar problem with my site being ok for a few hours (not days) and then I had the same message as you “Internet explorer cannot open this internet site”. I don’t know if the solution will be the same as mine but might be worth trying.

I had the issue when I imported my site using phpmyadmin. So I put my blog back up in the original url (where it worked fine), then exported it into an .xml file. Finally, I imported the .xml file in the new url.

It worked fine after this.

Well Jmach, I did use the import/export function. All the posts are imported… including the youtube players.

Now what?
