WordPress and plugins will not update

My website fails to update wordpress. It also does not update plugins. Website is back doctor chiropractic clinic hosted by easyspace. I have had this problem ever since I moved to this provider. I have updated manually in the past. Last time I opened a support ticket with them they told me to disable my plugins first. That worked for me last time, but it is not working this time.
