This morning, I found what could be a bug related to my problem.
In UM/Users there is a setting, “Enable Members Directory”. The default position is No. However with that setting, the Members Directory is enabled. When the setting is changed to Yes, the Members Directory is disabled. I assume that arrangement is not intended.
If the above is a real bug, the easiest solution would be to simply reword choice to: Disable Member Directories.
Of course, this assumes there are no other coding issues associated with the current configuration.

UPDATE:
I created another fictitious member and assigmed the role of Admin. Surprisingly, it showed in the Member Directory. So it seems the Directory only doesn’t want to show my membership,
im having the same issue but i just cant figure it out, i have it working fine on another site, just cant figure out what i have done wrong

haha, its only when the search function is on, otherwise i can see all users. Driving me bonkers!
Search Function position makes no difference with me,
mine didn’t unless i went into the page again from home rather than refreshing, hope someone can help us out. i really need the search function 🙁
I keep looking for reasons why the Directory doesn’t recognize me. Curiously, on my account page there is a place for my email. It has been pre-populated with my user name and it won’t let me change it to my email address.
I just noticed that some of the yes/no settings on the Account Settings page are reversed.
Some of the on/off settings on the email settings page are also backwards.
and some of the on/off settings in the Appearance section are reversed.
I am also stuck in same page, I am unable to display member directory in front though I have went through all forums but didn’t found a proper solutiom
I believe the problem is related to problems with settings. UM will probably have to help.
