I finally managed to add an access level (though not 100% sure it is specified correctly). More guidance would be welcome. In my case, I just want to create a level to restrict video viewing (will actually be streaming) to this level (so I cannot specify the actual file, not held locally, and was only able to specify “media”).

However, I am unable to add any users to the created level.
Reason: there are three users (visible under “All Users”) but I cannot add them to my level because:
    * no users at all are visible from “Members” tab of “User Access Level” and I cannot specify one or add one I know exists
    * I cannot specify the level under the user profile, as there is no way to do this

    What am I missing?

  • Same problem here on WordPress 4.5.3:

Putting an existing username in the input box “Search for users” and pressing return makes the user and its email appear above the box, but clicking “Add Members” has no effect… Trying with Firefox and Chrome.
Also, the list below says “No members found.”

There’s also a field in Edit User called Access Levels which does not respond to input either.

Same problem here with WordPress 4.6 and PHP 7.0 (in case that matters), tested in Chrome and Edge.

I just discovered this Plugin and it looks like it might be absolutely perfect. But I can’t add Users to a level via the Plugin and vice versa it’s not possible to add Levels via the User Profile. The text typed in just disappears and it kind of reloads the page.

Btw is there a way to bulk-add 400+ Profiles at once to a level?

Thank you for reporting this. I can confirm this is a bug introduced in the latest version.

I will push a fix early next week. For now, you should be able to enter comma-separated IDs (user or levels), but this is of course not ideal.

Currently there is no way to bulk-add members (unless you do it in code), but you can synchronize Levels with Roles. That way, every user in a given role will also get a specific level.

This has been fixed in version 0.12.1. Thanks again for reporting.
