• WPTouch seems to be stripping out part of media permalink paths within galleries. The first three images in the gallery on this page (http://nastasivaildesign.com/mobile-portfolio/prospect-heights-brownstone-project-in-process/) have /portfolio/prospect-heights-brownstone/ as part of their permalink structure. The /portfolio/prospect-heights-brownstone/ is the result of the images being attached to a post “prospect heights brownstone” of a custom post type “portfolio”. When you view this site on mobile using WPTouch, the permalinks shown have stripped out the /portfolio/prospect-heights-brownstone/ path, resulting in a 404 error. What can I do to resolve this problem? I really don’t want to have to re-upload all of these images just b/c they were originally part of a custom post type.

  • Hi Chloe,

The issue is not so much that it’s stripping the URLs, but rather that the URLs lead to a custom post type (portfolio). Custom post type support is a WPtouch Pro-only feature.

You can upgrade to WPtouch Pro, and enable custom post type support in Settings > Site Compatibility > Custom Post Support.

    Regards,

    Emilio Rivera,
