Thanks for the great tablepress plugin.

I have no trouble but 2 questions:

    1. I want to create some extensive overviews of diverse products with many rows (>100) and columns (>30). The tables have a fixed head (no merged cells).
Is it possible for the viewer, with a button / icon (within the first coloumn/above the table) to display (by default hidden) detail rows and hide them again? So regardless of the row contents. I would define what are detail rows and what core information is.
    e.g .: hide/show detail rows 5-10, 12-20, 22-30 …
Perhaps over control of the “Hide / Show Row” – Buttons in the table definition or a additional (hidden) coloumn with “core-info / detail-info” as content. I don’t want to sort the table and change the order of the rows. It just should look a bit more clear for the user.

    2. I would like to define the lines 1-5 (including pics in the first row) as the fixed head (not just the first row). Is that possible?

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. I’m not aware of an existing solution for your first question 🙁 You will likely have to develop a custom solution, e.g. based on jQuery code.

For the FixedHeader: No, sorry, the DataTables FixedHeader Extension can only fix the table head row. The reason is that that is a different HTML element that can be positioned differently.

    Regards,
    Tobias
