Polylang widgets displaying for all languages

I have the Polylang plug-in installed. I have widgets in my sidebar with a search widget and a subscribe widget. I’ve tried creating widgets to display only in certain languages by setting “The widget is displayed for:” to English, but the widgets are displaying in all languages. Help?
