    I’m keen to run a contact widget under the search box. SOmething with name, ph, fax, rss feeds, linked in facebook etc etc

    Are there any widgets to do this or what is the easiest way

    Please?

    There’s already an RSS/feed widget. In fact you can have as many as you want on there. There are a gazillion facebook plugins, many of which are widgetized. The other solution is just use one of the handy, dandy text widgets already thoughtfully provided for you by the WP Gods. So I don’t see what the problem is, really.
