Migrating databases

    Hey all,

    How difficult would it be to move all my tables into a new database? Basically I want to bridge some SMF and WP stuff and it seems that I’m going to need to combine databases. Is there any utility for this or will I simply have to move all the tables into a new database by hand?

    Have a (selective) look at Moving_WordPress for some options?

    You could also just use phpMyAdmin (or similar) to do a backup from one db and restore into the other.
