The cache of the page is cleared automatically when the post/page is updated. Can you update a post and open it on the another browser please?
I think you misunderstand. It is being cleared automatically after post updates, but I don’t want it to.
What’s the problem? only one single cache is deleted.
I want to update about 300 posts overnight and then clear the cache afterwards so my users see the changes all at once and not incrementally.
I’ve recently updated from a much older version of the plugin and it cleared the cache after new posts were published but not after updates to posts which were already published, at least not automatically. I just wanted to know if that functionality could be restored.
which function? what do you want to do after update post?
When I update a post I don’t want it’s cache to automatically clear.
I will add this feature and let you know.
Ok thanks. π
In the meantime I will restore an older version of the plugin.
In the older version, all the cache are deleted after update page/post.
Hmm, maybe it is a bug for me because it doesn’t clear after an update unless I delete it manually.
Hi again, I have added the feature. The following option has been added.
Update Post:[] Clear cache files when a post or page is updated
If you disable this option, the cache is not deleted after update a post/page.
If you enable this option, you will see the following options.
[]: Clear Cache of Post / Page
[]: Clear All Cache
You need to delete and download the plugin again to get the latest changes. Please let me know after trying it.
It works! I just checked it after reinstalling. Wow I was really not expecting such a quick turnaround, thank you!
*shakes your hand*
Sure thing, 5 star was well earned even before this update.
