• My site doesn’t allow registration of visitors.
    Only Admin accesses the site.
The site is getting hit constantly with:
    /wp-login.php?action=register hits.
Is there a way to block these hits before they ever see the login screen?
What about adding this URL to the:
Immediately block IP’s that access these URLs list?
    Thanks
    Tim

  • If you install WPS Hide Login plugin and create a custom login URL, you can then add /wp-login.php to the “immediately block” list in Options. Works like a charm and makes an interesting honey trap, if not a bit disconcerting to see how much you get attacked with login attempts.

Not sure if this would need to be /wp-logn.php in the list, or something like /wp-login.php* you could try both
