• Hi,

    Here is my situation.

    History:
Two domains, nicholassansburysmith.com and nicholassansbury.com pointing to a old style .php site at the root directory.

Enfold theme was installed in a subdomain under nicholassansburysmith.com/nss.

The old site has a url nicholassansbury.com/extinction_horizon_subscribe.php that needs to point to the new version on the wordpress site which is nicholassansburysmith.com/nss/index.php/extinction_horizon_subscribe/ when we go live (updating DB and repointing domains).

I downloaded and activated redirection and created a group and then tried to recreate a redirection entry. The from was /extinction_horizon_subscribe.php and the new was nicholassansburysmith.com/nss/index.php/extinction_horizon_subscribe/. I tested going to nigholassansbury.com/extinction_horizon_subscribe.php and it successfully redirected to the new WP version. I was thrilled.

Then I wanted to switch over the database and domains.

After switching the domain in the database and making nicholassansburysmith.com pointing to the new /nss folder and nicholassansbury.com was changed to be an iframe direct to nicholassansbury.com.

Hhowever everything stopped working. I was getting this for all urls:

    Nothing Found
Sorry, the post you are looking for is not available. Maybe you want to perform a search?

    Search
For best search results, mind the following suggestions:

    Always double check your spelling.
Try similar keywords, for example: tablet instead of laptop.
Try using more than one keyword.
Feel like browsing some posts instead?

I must not be setting up the redirection right for when the database and domains are swaped over to the new production version as mentioned above.

Any any help would be appreciated. My client is not very happy!

I do believe this is going to be a life saver for me and will make a donation if we get this working!

    Thanks!

    Nathan
