Editor permissions

    I was just wondering the same!

    It’s strange that plugin creators didn’t think that a user with permissions to add/edit posts is not allowed to add/edit downloads 🙁

    I was just looking around the plugin’s settings in search of permission settings and I found none!

    Until we got an answer for this, I’ll be using User Role Editor plugin to add manage_downloads permission to Editor role. That will fix it by the moment.

    Hey there,

    Download Monitor uses it’s own capabilities to manage the downloads. You can’t manage what roles has access to what capabilities within Download Monitor, but you can with a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/
