First off, great plugin! This has taken care of many needs on my site.

I’m running into a problem however after activating the reCAPTCHA extension. Once I activated your extension, the reCAPTCHA in my gravity forms no longer loads. When I deactivate the reCAPTCHA extension, the one through Gravity Forms works just fine.

Any idea why there would be a conflict between the two? Something to do with how each loads the reCAPTCHA?

Thanks so much for the support.

  • Hello,

That should not be happening. I had reCAPTCHAs for both UM and Gravity Forms working fine until I ditched them for a different protection method.

If you go to the GF backend (Forms -> Settings -> reCAPTCHA Settings, are the site key and secret key still present and accurate?

Just a tip: as an alternative to reCAPTCHA, you might try this plugin, WP Bruiser:

It integrates with Ultimate Member and provides excellent protection. It has allowed me to stop using reCAPTCHA altogether, which my users used to hate!

I’ve decided to try out the plugin you linked to above. Sounds like a pretty good solution so we’ll see how it goes.
